- Lanette is a London, UK/New York State Theater Academy graduate with a BA in Drama who has studied Cinematic Language at The Toronto Film School, is a published writer, and certified basic Spanish teacher. Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, she starred in her first commercial at age three, began classical piano at six and violin at thirteen. Her earliest music theory, writing and directing training were from the High School of Performing Arts and Image result for Diller Quaile Music School, NY. Lanette helped develop the lead role in playwright John Henry Redwood's (The Old Settler) final theatrical work: "An 'Ole Soul, A Young Spirit", at The New Harmony Project in New Harmony, IN.
As CEO of A WWB Production, Inc. and ember of the Academy/CMPA, The Actors Studio, NY/LA, WIF-T and acting unions: SAG/AFTRA/AEA//UBCP,Lanette is dedicated to producing projects that shine a light on underrepresented and marginalized communities of colour who rarely see accurate depictions of themselves represented on screen.
(2024) Lanette is producing an original premium drama series she's created for the small screen, a preschool animated series, a detective procedural, documentary series that features mature women across genre and province as well as a short form romantic comedy.
