Yesterday, the first trailer for "Ant-Man: Quantumania" was released, featuring a cameo that will change the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it forever — and Kang is there too.
Though many don't exactly know him by name, fans of Netflix's sketch comedy series "I Think You Should Leave" were delighted to see Ruben Rabasa, the old man from the nutty focus group sketch from season 1, pop up to thank "Spider-Man" for his heroism.
Finally, the MCU is growing up and showcasing real star power.
And Twitter took notice! Many users excitedly screenshotted Rabasa's moment in the coffee shop and made jokes about "I Think You Should Leave" becoming canon in the MCU, including one of the writers of "Quantumania," Jeff Loveness. Whether Rabasa is playing a recurring gag or just a throwaway extra, it really seems as though Marvel Studios couldn't have seen the virality of this one little cameo coming.

Marvel Studios has dropped the first trailer for “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly as the titular characters and introducing Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
After helping save the universe in “Avengers: Endgame,” Lang is the most popular guy around in the new trailer. He’s walking red carpets with Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne and is named “Employee of the Century” by Baskin Robbins (but still gets called “Spider-Man” at a coffee shop by Netflix’s “I Think You Should Leave” breakout star Ruben Rabasa). After Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang builds a satellite to the Quantum Realm, the entire Ant family is sucked into the new universe. The heroes find themselves surrounded by strange aliens and beasts, when supervillain Kang the Conqueror offers them a way out for their help. The villain comes from far into the future, specializing in time travel,...

How on Earth did we survive two years without new episodes of Netflix’s brilliant sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson? The first batch of six episodes premiered on April 23 of 2019 and proved instantly iconic.
Contained within the season’s roughly two-dozen sketches was absolutely hilarious and essential comedy that provided ample memetic kindling for the internet’s conversational fire. For the focused enough mind, it’s entirely possible to communicate with one’s friends exclusively in I Think You Should Leave memes. Lord knows, I’ve tried it.
Thankfully, Itysl season 2 has finally arrived on Netflix after its Covid-19 delay. It features 28 sketches that range from “pretty funny” to “I can’t stop laughing. Oh God, I can’t stop laughing. It hurts, surely this is the end. Surely, I will die.”

Stars: Ben Cross, Hal Holbrook, Ruben Rabasa, Ned Beatty, Trevor Howard, Jill Carroll | Written by Philip Yordan, Fernando Fonseca | Directed by Camilo Vila
In the church of St Agnes, the ageing Father Dennis (Ruden Rabasa) is seduced by a nude woman with enormous ‘80s hair. Three years later, young Father Michael (Ben “Sarek” Cross) is driving the seedy New Orleans streets, accompanied by dodgy sax music, on his way to rescue a potential suicide from a rooftop ledge. The jumper turns on him and Michael is thrown to his death. Except Michael doesn’t die!
It’s miracle enough to convince Archbishop Mosely (Hal Holbrook) that he has found his replacement at St Agnes. After all, if Michael can plunge twenty storeys without a scratch, why shouldn’t he be able to rid the church of an evil that has left the last two priests with their throats ripped out?...
