- She celebrated her sixth birthday by throwing a party for 70 orphan girls at the Los Angeles Orphanage.
- Juanita Quigley became a nun after high school graduation. She became Sister Quinton Rita of the Daughters of Mary and Joseph, and taught second grade at Precious Blood School in Los Angeles in the 1950s. However, she later retired from being a nun and married a former (laicized) priest.

- Juanita Quigley appears in new footage shot for and used in the trailer for the 1936 MGM feature "Absolute Quiet". She did not have nor was intended to have a role in the actual movie.
