(Cbr) It’s hard not to like Mordecai and Rigby, the animal heroes of Cartoon Network’s "Regular Show". Featuring the same brand of off-the-wall humor that has made shows like "Adventure Time" resonate with audiences, the hit series is now rounding the bases on its fifth season. At WonderCon 2014 in Anaheim, the writers and voice actors behind the hit series hosted a panel full of laughs to discuss the current season and what’s next for Mordecai, Rigby and the rest of the gang. The panel began with a video spotlight introducing the assembled talent with clips from previous shows they’ve worked on. "Regular Show" writer Matt Price then waltzed onto the stage in “tants” — pants with a square top around the waist — which Price said come in very handy, especially considering he has to put his notes for the panel down somewhere. After the laughter died down,...

Now that "The Office" has wrapped production, Rainn Wilson has offered up a tantalizing look at what the show could have been, had casting for the show way back in 2003 gone very differently.
Wilson posted a photo on his Facebook page Tuesday (March 19) of the sign-in sheet from the first day of auditions for the show on Nov. 6, 2003. The show's casting director, Allison Jones, kept the document and gave it to Wilson when filming ended last week, he says.
Wilson, who at the time was recurring on HBO's "Six Feet Under," was the first person to audition and signed in as auditioning for either Dwight, the role he'd end up getting, or Michael, eventually played by Steve Carell (who came aboard in early 2004). Others auditioning to play Dwight included Matt Besser ("Walk Hard"), Matt Price ("Men of a Certain Age") and Jarrett Grode ("Undeclared").
Price would end up guesting on...

Leslie Knope’s one true love, wooing a mousy receptionist played by 24′s Chloe O’Brian? Bridesmaids’s secret air marshal explaining to an invisible documentary crew that he wants people to be afraid of how much they love him? A kooky beet farmer/paper salesman who doubles as a founding member of the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade improv troupe?
Thanks to Rainn Wilson, we now know that all of them could have been featured on The Office — if casting had gone just a little differently.

The nominees for the 2010 Streamys were announced today. The Streamys celebrate online television programming and this year they have a fantastic line up of nominees. Last year was the Streamys debut year and the winners included high profile shows such as Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and the exceptional Battlestar Galactica web series The Face of the Enemy.
This year there is even more competition with some really interesting content now being released on the web rather than through more traditional media routes. Two of my favourites from this year’s nominee list are the excellent Interview Project which is presented by davidlynch.com and the slightly flawed but thoroughly enjoyable Angel of Death, created by Ed Brubaker and starring Zoe Bell, which also received a DVD release last year.
The awards ceremony takes place on April 11th 2010 and the full list of nominees is listed below with handy links...

TNT has faith in their freshman series Men of a Certain Age. So much that they've decided to renew it for a second season before the first one is only half aired.
Men of a Certain Age follows the lives of three male friends who are adjusting to the challenges of middle age. The show stars Ray Romano, Andre Braugher, and Scott Bakula, and also features Norma Jean, Braeden Lemasters, Matt Price, Brittany Curran, Brian J. White, Shelly Desai, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Little Jj, Kwesi Boakye, Penelope Ann Miller, and Michael Hitchcock.
The series debuted to big numbers on December 7th, attracting 5.4 million viewers. That represented ad-supported cable's top launch of 2009 for households and those ages 25-54 (a natural demographic for the series).
The numbers have dropped significantly since the premiere, with the most recent installment hitting a series...
