    • Auguste Prasch-Grevenberg was born on August 22, 1854 in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany. She was an actress, known for Die Buddenbrooks (1923), Die Heilige und ihr Narr (1928) and Der Geier von St. Veit (1917). She died on December 14, 1945 in Weimar, Thuringia, Germany.

  • Her brother Julius Grevenberg became an actor and director and her son Rolf Prasch became an actor and director as well.
  • The actress Auguste Prasch-Grevenberg grew up in an artistic ambitioned family.
  • She got her first stage engagement in Meiningen in 1870 and in the next years followed appearances in other German cities which established her as a stage actress.
  • Auguste Prasch-Grevenberg joined the film business in 1917 and in her first years she acted in "Der Geier von St. Veit" (1917), "Die Pest in Florenz" (1919) and "Ut mine stromtid" (1919).
  • Her father was the opera singer Peter Grevenberg and her mother the opera singer Minna Grevenberg.
