Peter Pollard(I)

Born and raised in Miami Florida, where he began working in commercials
and television, first as an extra on "Flipper" at Ivan Tors Studios.
Spent two years in summer stock at the Arrow Rock Lyceum in Arrow Rock
Missouri doing classical repertory Theatre. In New York in the late
60's he worked as either day player or extra on such films as "Where
Where You When the Lights Went Out", "The Night They Raided Minskys'"
and "Midnight Cowboy". In 1969 he appeared in a television special
produced by WNET/NY and The National Children's Workshop, playing the
lead in "The Witch Who Stole Thursday" written by Jerry Juhl and
recipient of the National Achievement in Excellence Award for National
Educational Television.
In 1972 he returned to Ivan Tors Studios in Miami as a PA on the television show "Primus", where he also did work as a day player on the series. That same year he appeared in LIMBO a Universal Studios production directed by Mark Robson and on the feature "Lady Ice", starring Donald Sutherland and Robert Duvall. In 1975 he worked as a featured extra on LENNY directed by Bob Fosse and in 1980 Played an Army doctor in "A Small Circle of Friends", directed by Rob Cohen and Produced for United Artists by Tim Zinnemann. In the early 80's he worked as a Director and Production Coordinator of television commercials and industrial films in Chicago. In the 80' and 90's Mr. Pollard concentrated on raising a family, but stayed active as an actor in local and regional theatre. He has done some print work for Disney in Orlando and appeared as a camera double in the Universal Studios production "Oscar", directed by John Landis. He has retained his SAG/AFTRA membership for over 50 years.
