Margit Pfeiffer was born in Austria, studied audio engineering and film in Germany and lives in Southern California.
Her work as Supervising Sound Editor has taken her from Munich to Hollywood and most recently to New York and London.
In addition to creating soundscapes for movies Margit is focused on a well-rounded set of skills. Having completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School (negotiations), Producers Guild of America (movie production), University of California Los Angeles (screenwriting) and University of Southern California (managerial accounting and finance).
Margit's professional affiliations include the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Motion Picture Editors Guild.
Outside of work Margit is a passionate aviator and holds a Private Pilot license, seaplane rating and has trained in aerobatic flight.
Margit's long distance solo cycling adventures include road biking from Rome to Vienna via Mont Blanc and mountain biking across the jungles, volcanoes and beaches of Costa Rica.
Margit speaks German, English, French, Spanish and Latin.
