- Producer of the Academy Award-winning "Monster" starring Charlize Theron, Clark Peterson has produced and executive produced a wide variety of award-winning films, documentaries, and television productions.
In features, Peterson most recently produced the animated film "Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet," featuring the voice talents of Liam Neeson and Salma Hayek and directed by Roger Allers ("The Lion King"). Adapted from Gibran's classic bestselling book, the film features animated interpretations of Gibran's work by some of today's most celebrated animators and is coming to theaters in fall 2015. Other projects include "Rampart" starring Woody Harrelson from a script by James Ellroy, Atom Egoyan's "Devil's Knot" with Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon, festival darling "My Date with Drew," "Decoding Annie Parker" starring Helen Hunt, Samantha Morton, and Aaron Paul, and "East of Havana," a documentary about the Cuban hip-hop scene.
In television, he is currently developing "Shakedown" at HBO with David Fincher and James Ellroy, "Scanners" at Cinemax, based on David Cronenberg's classic, and had two pilots produced at CBS network in 2015. He has also developed series at Showtime, FX, the CW, Lifetime, and HBO Canada, and has produced television movies for CBS.
A graduate of Stanford University, Peterson began his career working in development and production for producer Roger Corman before going on to join the Walt Disney Studios as an executive.
