Thea Marie Perkins

This creole doll was born in Chicago, Illinois and spent her puberty in New Orleans, LA. Thea-Marie is the youngest daughter of bio-chemist, Audrey Perkins and police officer, Robert Perkins Jr. She is the niece of the famous late Chicago drummer, Red Saunders. She attended Catholic school and holds two degrees in acting from both New York University's Tisch School of Arts, an MFA from The American Conservatory Theater with a certificate from The London Shakespeare Studio. She worked with Second City Improv starting her career on stage at Princeton University's McCarter Theater and as Lena Horne at Harlem's National Black and Apollo Theater. Ms. Perkins is also a credentialed educator and award-winning filmmaker.
