Pedro Paz(1963-1999)

Pedro Paz was born in Lanzarote, Canary Islands of Spain in 1963.He studied film direction at Madrid University and directs his first short movie in 1994, «Mejor no hables» starring Rossy de Palma. In 1997 Paz directs a second short movie, «Miranda hacia atras».He wins many awards for both in several short film festivals. In the meantime, he collaborated with Pedro Almodovar as director's personal assistant in his last three movies:«La flor de mi secreto», «Carne tremula» and «Todo sobre mi madre». Paz also collaborated with Chus Gutierrez in her film «In somnio». He finished his first script for a long movie just before his death in Barcelona in 1999.
