Gerard Parkes

Beginning in 1948, played supporting roles on stage.
In 1968 he was the first person to win Best Actor in what are now called the Canadian Screen Awards (the Geminis), for the feature film Isabel (1968).
His interment was at Saint James Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario.
