Shin'ya Ôwada was born on 25 October 1947 in Fukui, Japan. He is an actor and writer, known for Kyôryû wo horô! (2013), Riyû (2004) and Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001). He has been married to Michiko Godai since 1980. They have two children.
