Chris Olness is a Los Angeles based writer/director developing thrillers with underlying love stories for film and TV.
Olness' studio, indie and brand storytelling experience include Satin distributed by Warner Bros. & Showtime and Levis Brand film Coming Home - AFI FEST premier. His career began in visual effects for George Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) on films such as; Star Wars, Mission Impossible, Men in Black, Twister, Lost World - Jurassic Park. When duty called during Star Wars re-shoots, Olness suited up as a Stormtrooper and blasted the Millennium Falcon. Olness was an American Film Institute (AFI) Directing Fellow. Olness has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley. His mission is to inspire a diverse creative community of talent to collaborate with efficient workflow to produce thrilling high-quality stories that captivate the audience and enrich lives.
