Very early in his career Phil O'Shea was invited to attend the inaugural screenwriters' studio where he was mentored by the legendary Writer/Director Sam Fuller. Sam advised Phil to 'never lose his nerve' i.e. don't give up and stick to your guns and write the film you see on the screen.
