- A highly regarded stunt man, O'Shea severely injured his leg and ankle in a stunt involving a wagon, which ended his career as a stuntman. He was friends with Roy Rogers, who saw that O'Shea got work on Rogers' TV series. O'Shea also began doing a lot of character work on western TV series.
