Sergei Yakovlevich Nikitin was born in 1944 in Moscow. In the 1960's he
graduated in Phyisics from the Mocsow State University where he led the
student vocal ensemble (including 3 years after his graduation).
Tatyana Nikitina (maiden name Tatyana Sadykova) was "his best and most talented
pupil". The couple married. During the 1960's-1980's Sergei Nikitin and
Tatyana worked in a physical science institute, sang Sergei Nikitin'
songs to the lyrics of Russian poets and became one of the most
renowned Russian bards.
