After suffering a severe back injury that abruptly ended her dance career, she modeled in Asia and Europe, and lived abroad in Hong Kong, Paris and Milan.

Before acting she worked in music with recording artists and producers: Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Michael Bolton. She credits Babyface as one of her mentors.

Has 5 brothers. Three from her mother and 2 from her biological father.

Took a few years off from acting to join the management team of Grammy winning rock-n-roll band Velvet Revolver.

Is French Vietnamese.

She beat out other Asian models for the title of Miss Vietnamese Budweiser Girl at age 21 and appeared on two poster ads.

Returned to Los Angeles after a year abroad in Paris. (February 2009)

Moved to LA originally to pursue dancing and appeared in numerous hip hop and R&B videos including R. Kelly's first song release "You Got That Vibe.".
