Began her career in the mid-1940s as a bathing suit model. Ten years later, she worked as a singer at the Copacabana nightclub in New York, eventually making her screen debut in 1957.
Third wife of actor Don Gordon; the couple adopted their daughter, Gabrielle, as a baby in 1966.
Resided in the Santa Cruz area of California until her death. She was cremated and her ashes scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
