Born in Vienna and raised in Spain, Birgit arrived in the U.S. in 1992
after completing her journalism, publicity and promotion undergrad
studies in London. Further education led to a Television Direction and
Production diploma from the BBC's Television Training Academy. Birgit
spent her first year post-college at "Miss Vogue" as an assistant
beauty and teen fashion editor for the German Conde Nast publication.
Her experience includes Photo Editor for "Transpacific Magazine" and
stylist for European "Vogue", "Vanity Fair", and "Elle". In the U.S.,
Birgit worked in film and television for more than a decade for
Paramount, Sony, Disney and Universal Productions - with Academy Award
Directors including William Friedkin, David Lynch and Ridley Scott.
Joining CBS's "The Bold and the Beautiful" in 2001, Birgit quickly made
an impression on the industry earning FIVE Emmy nominations in the
category of "Best Costume Design in Daytime TV" in 2001 and 2003 and
winning the Emmy in this category in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Birgit has
spoken as a guest lecturer at UCLA teaching "Creating Art in a Business
Environment" and lectures on a regular basis to costume design students
for FIDM and the Fashion Group Int. Since 2006 Birgit manufactured her
own line of designer gowns. Her Film and Television Credits include

In 2006 Founded her organization "The Three Doves Foundation" raising funds for mayor natural disasters, disease prevention and cure. 2005 Received the prestigious "Circle of Hope Award" for her leadership in raising funds for cancer research. Her Fashion Show Gala on April 4, 2005 raised more than $ 800, 000. 2004 Joined forces with the City of Hope after a tragic health episode in her husband's life.
Ms. Muller's philanthropic work began raising money with costume donations from major box office movies for organizations like Devine Design and Project Angel Food. Birgit has donated her couture design gowns for auctions to more than a dozen charitable organizations over the years. The Founder of her own non-profit organization "The Three Doves Foundation", Ms.Muller has committed herself to creating systematic changes in raising funds for major natural disasters, disease prevention and cure that positively impact lives of children in need.
