While balancing her roles as a registered nurse, medical consultant, and acting student, she made her breakthrough in the film and television industry. She was cast in the recurring role of Nurse Thomas on ABC's "All My Children," which paved the way for a successful career in television, film, and as an award-winning filmmaker.

Jacqueline Murphy has been on the Television Academy's "For Your Consideration" (FYC) Ballot for Emmy Nomination two seasons for her Acting and Producing on Pepito's Mamadas (2022) & The Admired (2017).

For two consecutive years (2023 & 2024), Jacqueline Murphy was honored by the New York State Assembly & Schneps Media as "Power Woman". She was awarded for her outstanding work as a fearless woman in filmmaking (as Actress, Producer, Screenwriter & Director) making New York a thriving, vibrant place to work, live and do business.

She began her career as a television host, interviewing celebrities on the red carpet, and has since launched her own show, "Entertainment with Jacqueline Murphy.".

In 2024, the Television Academy appointed Jacqueline Murphy as the Performers Peer Group Moderator.
