- Sang a song called "Don't Go Messin' With a Country Boy" for the first WWF music album. He would also end up using this song as his ring entrance music.
- Hillbilly Jim has a radio show playing old rock tunes called "Moonshine Matinee" on Sirius Satellite Radio (Country). (June 2005)
- Jim Morris first appeared on the wrestling scene in Memphis, wrestling as "Harley Davison".
- Wrestled at Wrestlemania 2 in the NFL/WWF Battle Royal, Wrestlemania III in a mixed tag team match, along with midget wrestlers Little Beaver & The Haiti Kid, against King Kong Bundy, along with midget wrestlers Little Tokyo & Lord Littlebrook, and at Wrestlemania IV in the opening battle Royal.
- The WWE expanded the character of Hillbilly Jim by introducing the Hillbilly Family bringing in Uncle Elmer, Cousin Luke & Cousin Junior.
- Hillbilly Jim made a return to the WWE at Wrestlemania 17, wrestling in the Gimmick Battle Royale.
- Still employed by the WWE. Was sent out in the Wrestlemania XX tour bus around the country to help promote the event. (2004)
- Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
