She acted in Tennessee Williams' play, "Battle of Angels," at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts with John Ritter and Jill O'Hara in the cast.
Nancy's uncle, John "Red" Morgan, was awarded the Medal of
Honor for heroism as a WWII bomber pilot. The event was later
fictionalized in the movie Twelve O'Clock High (1949).
