Jesse Moore began his career at the tender age of 12, winning the talent contest at the Apollo Theater.

Jesse lives in The New Orleans Musicians Village with his two cats: Princess Tofu and Boudin, the Royal Sausage Kat.

Jesse has lived for long periods of time in Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia, Bali, Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Jesse has commercially recorded and released several CDs of original music. Some of his music was used on HBO's Treme (2010).

In 1988, Jesse shared a Toni Award for "Excellence in Regional Theater.".

At age 15, Jesse auditioned for Motown Records. Smoky Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and Eddie Kendricks (Temptations) were present.
