- Although she was born in San Diego, Monique's family later moved several hundred miles north to the rural Antelope Valley outside of Los Angeles, where she grew up in the town of Lancaster. A tomboy throughout her teenage years, it was when she graduated high school that she and a girlfriend decided to visit a local strip club out of curiosity. She was so fascinated by it that she later went back and got a job there. She had been working there for a while when a couple came in one night and offered to set her up for a photo shoot.
