- Kôhei Miyauchi was born on August 4, 1929 in Kagoshima, Japan. He was an actor, known for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984), Fist of the North Star (1984) and Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest (1990). He died on June 2, 1995 in Nihon University Itabashi Hospital, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
- Typically cast in the role of wise old men.
- Did Japanese dubs for movies and TV shows, such as The Rescuers (1977), Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980), The Concorde... Airport '79 (1979) (the dub broadcast on TV Asahi), Planet of the Apes (1968), and some of the James Bond and Godfather movies.
- The very last voice recording he ever did for the Dragon Ball franchise was, ironically, his character (Master Roshi) being killed by Majin Buu (it happened not long before he died.).
- Was the original dub voice of The Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt in Thomas & Friends (1984).
