Texas A&M grad and rising country singer Granger Smith sure knows how to make a star-studded music video.
The Aggies alum, who has played at the White House, visited American soldiers in Iraq and Kuwait, and wrote a song about his alma mater titled "We Bleed Maroon," had reigning Heisman Trophy-winning A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel appear in his new video for the tune "Silverado Bench Seat." Manziel stars in the video with longtime girlfriend Sarah Savage as well as former Aggies receiver Ryan Swope, who was recently drafted by the Arizona Cardinals.
Smith's new album, "Dirt Road Driveway," debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Country Album chart.

A year after going full-frontal to star in an experimental Sigur Ros music video, Shia Labeouf has gone behind the scenes to direct a brooding, dark and sometimes gory clip for the Nashville group Future Unlimited. The dreamy electro-song, "Haunted Love," appeared on the band's 2012 album of the same title; the 4 1/2-minute video features lead singer Dave Miller (wielding an ax) and Labeouf's girlfriend, actress Mia Goth (dancing, crying and giving birth in a bathtub filled with bloody water). There are several close-up shots of a baby wailing and another one of the child burning

Coastal ranger Dave Miller stated: "In some areas, it happens at night-time and out of the way, and it's not a problem. "But this is happening during the daytime. People do bump into people doing unsavoury things." Miller added: "It's a fantastic area, and I would like to use it more (more)...

Bette Davis, Joan Blondell, Ann Dvorak, Three on a Match Ann Dvorak on TCM Part I: Scarface, I Was An American Spy Another cool Ann Dvorak performance is her drug addict in Mervyn LeRoy's Three on a Match (1932), which features a great cast that includes Warren William, Joan Blondell, and a pre-stardom Bette Davis. Never, ever light three cigarettes using the same match, or you'll end up like Ann Dvorak, delivering a harrowing performance without getting an Academy Award nomination for your efforts. As Three on a Match's young Ann Dvorak, future Oscar nominee Anne Shirley is billed as Dawn O'Day. (And for those who believe that remakes is something new: Three on a Mach was remade a mere six years later as Broadway Musketeers: John Farrow directed; Ann Sheridan, Marie Wilson, and Margaret Lindsay starred.) I've never watched David Miller's family drama Our Very Own...

Variety reports that FX has picked up drama project "March to Madness" from executive producer Don Cheadle. The series chronicles the glory and the seedy side of college basketball. The project comes from writer Joel Silverman, while Pete Segal ( The Longest Yard ) is set to direct. Also attached to the project alongside Silverman, Segal and Cheadle are former college basketball coach Dave Miller and Segal's producing partner, Michael Ewing. "March" will revolve around a corrupt college basketball program that cheats its way to the "March Madness" Ncaa basketball tournament. The story will be told through the eyes of the college coach, whose idealistic approach to the job has slowly been eroded by the compromises he's forced to make.
