Her husband was Balázs Horváth, the first home secretary of Hungary
after the Communist era. He left the government in 1993, and continued
his practice as a lawyer. He returned to the politics in 1998, and was
elected as a representative of the city Veszprém. At the time of his
death, he was still the member of the Parliement (in the
Fidesz-fraction).
