Marc Messenger is a writer and film director specializing in CG cinematic shorts for AAA games like World of Warcraft, Overwatch and Diablo. Marc's directing career began at Blizzard Entertainment in 2009 with the cinematic intro for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and continued with high-fidelity CG films for the game's expansions, from Mists of Pandaria to Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth and Dragonflight. Throughout the Battle for Azeroth expansion, he directed five installments of narrative storytelling which have been compiled into a 23-minute experience, Battle for Azeroth: Varok Saurfang's Mak'Gora.
In 2024, Marc is now represented by Mark Saffian of Content House and is focused on screenwriting.
Prior to Blizzard, Marc served as a storyboard artist on multiple features including "Con Air", "Blade", and "Poseidon". He has directed two independent films, "The Sasquatch Hunters" (1997) and "Exposure" (2010).
