Jim Melloan

Jim Melloan was born in Detroit, MI, and grew up mostly in Westfield, NJ, with four years in London, England in 1966-1970, when he was 11-14 years old. He has a BA with Honors in Theater from Wesleyan University. He was a founding member of the improvisational troupe ImprovBoston, which was founded in 1982 and still exists today. He has been an actor in several stage plays in Boston and New York City. He is a singer-songwriter who plays keyboard, and has performed at various venues in New York City. He was co-producer of the New York Comedy Music Festival in 2019. He has been a journalist for financial and business magazines, and is a writer and editor. He is the host of 50 Years Ago This Week on Radio Free Brooklyn. On this show he counts down the Top 40 from exactly 50 years ago.
