- Runs marathons. Ran the LA Marathon with his wife and proposed to her at the finish line.
- Aaron's father died when he was 4 years old. He has a tattoo under his right arm dedicated to the memory of his father.

- Aaron won an acting scholarship to study in the MFA program at California School of the Arts (CalArts). His graduate role was Achilles in Troilus and Cressida.
- Aaron attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on a Baseball scholarship and played in the minors until he broke his hand. He continues to play Shortstop for the Hollywood Stars.
- Is profiled in acting coach Larry Moss' book Intent to Live. Larry interviewed Aaron and Amy Pietz on how they prepared for their roles in Kenneth Lonnergan's play Lobby Hero. Their production of Lobby Hero was nominated for an Ovation award.
- Taught LAUSD high school students who were just out of Juvenile Detention and County Lockup.
- Studied at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT).
- Played the lead in the Ovation nominated "Lobby Hero" by Kenneth Lonergan.
- Stage RawNominated for LA Theatre Award Best Leading Male Performance for the production of "In A Dark Dark House" by Neil LaBute. Directed by Larry Moss.
