John C. McDonnell

John C. McDonnell was born on the Southside of Chicago and graduated
from Brother Rice H.S. in 1979. He attended Northern Illinois
University, and began his career in 1980 as a stand-up comedian. He has
performed on numerous TV shows with several appearances on A&E's "An
Evening at the Improv" (1989-1993) and Fox's "Comic Strip Live". He has
headlined in every US state and traveled to 97 countries and territories around
the world. His TV debut was on "Star Search" (he lost) and his acting
debut was on the series, "Coach". He most recently recurred in the last
season of "Friday Night Lights". John originally did stand-up as John
McDonnell. Once he joined the Screen Actors Guild, he was required to
use his middle initial and then became John C. McDonnell. He continues
to perform around the world and act in TV and motion pictures. He lives in Texas.
