The English dub voice of Dr. Vegapunk has been revealed! First introduced during a recording of Crunchyroll's The Anime Effect podcast at San Diego Comic-Con, Kent Williams will officially voice Dr. Vegapunk when he debuts in the One Piece English dub. Williams, who previously voiced the devious Kuro back during the East Blue Saga of One Piece , joined fellow castmates Robert McCollum (Donquixote Doflamingo) and Chris Rager to talk with the hosts of the podcast about their experience as part of the English dub over the last 20 years of the anime series. The day has finally come. The series finale of the epic anime “Attack on Titan” has landed on anime streaming service Crunchyroll.

“Attack on Titan” Season 4, Part 4, or “Attack on Titan” Final Season: The Final Chapters Special 2 arrived on Crunchyroll Nov. 4. The series finale marks the end of Eren Yeager’s saga that was a decade in the making. It is available in more than 200 countries and territories, including New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

“Attack on Titan” Season 4, Part 4 was directed by Yuichiro Hayashi (“Dorohedoro”) and produced by studio Mappa (“Jujutsu Kaisen”).

The series composition was done by Hiroshi Seko (“Chainsaw Man”), with character design provided by Tomohiro Kishi (“Dorohedoro”) and chief animation direction by Daisuke Niinuma (“Days”) and Manabu Akita (“Kakegurui”). For dub viewers and “Aot” lovers, the wait is finally over. Crunchyroll will be delivering English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German and Russian voice soundtracks for the hit anime series’ latest chapter on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 10:30 p.m. Pt.

The original Japanese version of Part 3 of “Aot’s” fourth season premiered on Crunchyroll on March 3 after being delayed earlier in the day, as the hour-long special aired on Japanese network Nhk at 12:23 a.m., leaving North American “Aot” fans desperate for answers.

If you watch anime dubs, you'll notice a lot of the same voices coming out of different characters' mouths across many different series. That's because many series are dubbed by the same studios, which employ the same stable of actors. One of the biggest dubbing studios is Funimation. Founded in 1994 by since-retired Gen Fukunaga and based in the Dallas, Texas metro area, the studio rose to fame by dubbing "Dragon Ball Z." The company has since been merged with and rebranded as Crunchyroll, but the talent remains largely the same.

Some voice actors you might hear over and over in Funimation/Crunchyroll dubs include Chris Sabat, Colleen Clinkenbeard, and Mike McFarland. The latter is a particularly important lynchpin of the studio since he's not just a voice actor, but also an Adr director, writer, and line producer.

The only other new wide release in theaters at that time is Universal’s Idris Elba movie, Beast. Super Hero is getting a further global blast around the world at the same time.

These Crunchyroll movies are big one weekend cash cows, whereby all the fans come out in one swoop. Rival studios marvel at how Crunchyroll pulls this off, largely without a national TV campaign; dialing into and engaging their fanbase to leave the house. The last Dragon Ball Super: Broly posted a 6-day MLK opening of 22.3M, yet finaled at 30.7M. Worldwide, the pic did 115.7M.
