Actor Scott Reeves is making a return to Port Charles. His character, Steven Webber, is rejoining the world of General Hospital. Reeves himself has recently talked about what it was like returning to the soap.
Scott Reeves Had Asked Showrunners When Steven Would Return
Reeves got his start in soaps playing Jake Hogansen on Days of Our Lives. After a few film and television appearances, he joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in 1991, playing Ryan McNeil. Initially intended to be recurring, Reeves appeared in the role until 2001.
In 2009, Reeves joined the cast of General Hospital as Steven Webber, taking on the role from Shaun Benson. Initially intended to be recurring, much like with the McNeil character, Reeves would stay in the role until 2013.

However, Reeves returned to Port Charles in an October 24, 2024, episode. The actor talked about his return to General Hospital in an interview with Soap Opera Digest.

There’s no love lost between Doug Davidson and The Young and the Restless. The actor, who played Paul Williams from 1978 to 2020, has been vocal about the show disrespecting him and his character. The show’s recent explanation of Paul’s absence has stirred up Davidson.
Paul Misses Heather’s Funeral
It’s been four years since Paul last appeared in Genoa City, and a lot has happened to him offscreen. The former detective retired and moved to Portugal, and later, he and Christine (Lauralee Bell) divorced.
Although the writers left the door open for a possible return, Davidson made it clear he and his character weren’t coming back.
With the recent death of his daughter Heather (Vail Bloom), fans were curious how the writers would explain his absence.
When Daniel (Michael Graziadei) called to inform Paul of Heather’s death, it was too much for him to handle.

Fans of Adam and Sally, or “Ally” were thrilled when they got back together not too long ago on The Young and the Restless. However, their happiness was short-lived because Adam cheated with Chelsea while they dealt with Connor’s Ocd. Of course, “Chadam” fans are pretty pleased with the way the storyline is going. Here’s how fans really feel about the situation.
‘Ally Destruction’
Viewers haven’t been shy about this love quadrangle developing between Sally (Courtney Hope), Adam (Mark Grossman), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Billy (Jason Thompson) over the past several weeks. On Reddit, one fan posted, “We literally had to go back and forth with these two for years to the point of exhaustion all for him to cheat?!? Make it make sense somebody.”
Read This: Y&r’s fall preview.
Others agreed. At least one was sad to see Adam turn back to his old ways.

Although Alley Mills has made the General Hospital character, Heather Webber, her own, its original portrayer is still beloved by the fans and keeps in touch with them through social media. Robin Mattson originated the part in 1980, playing the demented villainess for decades. Now retired, she often shares what she’s been up to, and is truly enjoying life.
Her Summer Has Been Pleasant
Fans were concerned in 2022 when Mattson had knee surgery, but she came out swimmingly on the other side. Recently, Mattson shared a photo on Instagram of her and friends at the Inn of the Seventh Ray, a Los Angeles restaurant whose official Instagram page description boasts, “L.A’s Most Romantic Restaurant and Wedding Space. Est 1975.” She captioned the photo with, “I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer, filled with new discoveries !

Sheila Carter, mega-villain on The Bold and the Beautiful, always seems to get away with her crimes. For over three decades, she’s avoided hefty prison time. Plus, she always comes back to strike fear into the hearts of those around her.
Fans of the show love to hate her, even when she evades the law, including one of her most famous prison breaks.
Sheila Carter’s sordid history
Villain Sheila Carter, played by actor Kimberlin Brown, has terrorized Genoa City and Los Angeles residents during her time on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
A character on both soaps since the early 1990s, Sheila had conflicts with many characters, but none more than Lauren Fenmore, whom she kidnapped and tried to kill several times. Their initial beef started in 1990 when Sheila became obsessed with Dr. Scott Grainger (played by Peter Barton), who was already married to Lauren.
