Dakota Johnson may be Hollywood royalty, but she's a successful actress in her own right, and has earned herself an impressive net worth. She first broke out with her role as Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, which brought her international fame. Since then, she has continued to showcase her versatility by starring in films ranging from indie dramas like The Lost Daughter to psychological horror in Suspiria. While her 2024 film Madame Web was a critical and box office dud, this won't stall her burgeoning career.
Born in Austin, Texas, Dakota Johnson comes from a prominent Hollywood family. She is the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and her grandmother is the legendary Tippi Hedren. Raised on film sets, Johnson made her acting debut at the age of 10 with a bit part in 1999's Crazy in Alabama, starring her mother and directed by her then-stepfather,...

Los Angeles, Sep 9 (Ians) Actors and star couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have written in support of the rape accused actor Danny Masterson, ahead of his sentencing, vouching for his character.
Kutcher and Kunis wrote letters in an effort to urge the judge for a lesser sentencing. In Kutcher’s letter, he referred to Masterson as a “role model”, while Kunis vouched for Masterson’s “exceptional character”, calling him as an “outstanding older brother figure,” in documents obtained by Variety.
Both the actors have previously worked with Masterson. Kutcher and Kunis starred in ‘That ’70s Show’ with him, which ran for eight seasons and 200 episodes between 1998 and 2006.
Kutcher then again starred with Masterson on the web series, ‘The Ranch’, though Masterson was written out of the show in its third season, after being accused of sexual assault in 2017.

That ’70s Show star Danny Masterson was sentenced to thirty years in prison yesterday after being found guilty of two counts of sexual assault. Prior to the sentencing, more than fifty people wrote letters to Judge Charlaine Olmedo to voice their support for Danny Masterson and to urge for a lesser sentence. Two of the people who wrote letters were Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who starred alongside Masterson on That ’70s Show.
Danny Masterson’s defence was asking for 15 years to life, so everyone who wrote letters to Judge Olmedo likely knew that he would at least be serving that time.
Ashton Kutcher counted Masterson as a friend and role model in his letter. “As a role model, Danny has consistently been an excellent one,” Kutcher wrote. “I attribute not falling into the typical Hollywood life of drugs directly to Danny. Any time that we were to meet someone...

Danny Masterson is headed to prison.
The That '70s Show alum was sentenced to 30 years after being convicted of rape earlier this year.
Ahead of the sentencing, it was reported that he faced a sentence of 30 years to life in prison.
The news comes months after a jury of seven women and five men found Masterson guilty of two of three rape counts after seven days of deliberations.
Masterson was accused of raping three women at his Hollywood Hills home from 2001 and 2003, at the height of his fame on the Fox comedy series.
The actor's first trial ended last year in a mistrial, but the judge opted to re-try The Ranch alum with a different set of jurors.
All three women in the case opened up to the judge about how Masterson's crimes had ruined their lives and requested that he be given life behind bars.

Tonight, viewers said goodby to the Baxters and their friends for a second time. The sitcom was cancelled by ABC after six seasons but was revived a year later for three more seasons on Fox. Last Man Standing is ending after three seasons on Fox, nine total, including an original run on ABC. And while the network has opted not to order another season, it is is sending Tim Allen and the rest of the Last Man Standing family off with praise just days before its series finale.
“The show took a bold, yet relatable, point-of-view with great humor and sensibility that directly spoke to families. Tim, the producers and cast have been great partners, and I believe this series will go down as one of the most meaningful family comedies in television,” said Michael Thorn, President of Entertainment for Fox Entertainment told Deadline. “It’s only fitting that a show of this importance gets the opportunity for a big, proper farewell to its loyal fans.”
In its hour-long finale, Last Man Standing will bid adieu to Mike Baxter and the rest of his quirky family members and co-workers.

Tim Allen is wrapping yet another long-running family sitcom as Last Man Standing nears its series finale on Fox. Though experienced the actor and executive producer may be at bringing beloved projects like Home Improvement and Galaxy Quest to close, Allen said it was difficult to say good bye to the on-screen family he’s come to know for nearly a decade.
“To be very honest, I have had problems letting go of this one. It’s just been three or four weeks and I’m literally just feeling better. Never have I enjoyed, outside of Home Improvement and maybe moments of Galaxy Quest, one of these jobs,” he said. “This crew, from the guy at the gate to Radford inside to people we ate with, I loved every second of this experience.”

When Ryan asks if he actually did that, Mike chuckles and says “What?” When Ryan repeats himself, Mike begins...

Home Improvement‘s Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor meets Last Man Standing‘s Mike Baxter in the time period premiere for Fox comedy Last Man Standing.
In the “Dual Time” episode, Tim Allen does double duty as a repairman (his former alter ego Home Improvement‘s Tim Taylor) and Last Man Standing‘s Mike Baxter. The network’s description for the time period premiere episode: “The Baxters see double when Vanessa hires a home improvement repairman (Allen) who bears an uncanny resemblance to Mike (Allen), who is struggling with an idea for his Outdoor Man 10th Anniversary vlog.” (See photo above.) Additionally, Kristin and Mandy discover a secret about Ryan and Kyle’s favorite comic-book author.

“Last Man Standing” is coming to an end (again) with its upcoming ninth season, and TheWrap has an exclusive first look at the Fox (and former ABC) sitcom’s final batch of episodes. Three first looks, actually.
In the first clip, which you can view above, Vanessa (Nancy Travis) tells Mike (Tim Allen) that the umpire mask he’s wearing doesn’t actually count as a mask in the way he wants it to during a pandemic.
There are two more promos for you to check out below, one that makes a not so subtle hint about trying to boost ratings by announcing you’re going into your final season — of playing football for the NFL — and one where Mike declares himself the “Snack Master General.”

Last Man Standing is coming to an end, again.
The Fox comedy will end with its upcoming ninth season, which will premiere on the network in January.
The move means that the Tim Allen-fronted series will have run for 194 episodes when it ends with its ninth season being ordered for 21 episodes.
It marks the second time that the sitcom has come to an end; the show, which is produced by 20th Television, ran for six seasons on ABC and was axed in 2017. Fox, which at the time was part of the same corporation as the studio that made it, picked it up for a seventh season that premiered in September 2018.
Last Man Standing is currently Fox’s only returning live-action comedy. The network has straight-to-series comedy series Call Me Kat, starring Mayim Bialik and executive-produced by Bialik and Jim Parsons, launching in midseason and is still planning to film...

“Last Man Standing” is coming to an end — again.
Fox announced Wednesday that the previously announced Season 9 of the Tim Allen multi-camera comedy will be the show’s last. The ninth and final season is slated to debut in January. This will mark the second time “Last Man Standing” has ended. The show originally ran for six seasons on ABC before being canceled in 2017. Fox then picked up it for a seventh season, which began airing in 2019. Upon its conclusion, the show will have filmed 194 episodes.
“It has been an honor to be home for Tim Allen and ‘Last Man Standing,’” said Michael Thorn, president of entertainment for Fox Entertainment. “Millions of families have long enjoyed the show because, perhaps, they see themselves in the Baxters. The loyal affection they’ve shown proves just how much this series has meant to them. On behalf of everyone at Fox, a big,...

“Last Man Standing” will now get a proper series finale. Fox announced Wednesday that the Tim Allen-led sitcom will wrap up after its upcoming ninth season next year.
Fox picked up the sitcom after it was dropped by ABC after six seasons. Allen was irked by ABC’s decision to cancel the series despite its solid performance on Friday nights. In a statement, he seemed much more sanguine about the series’ second ending.
“I’ve been one lucky dude to have been part of ‘Last Man Standing,'” Allen said. “I so appreciate the incredible support from our fans over this near decade of work. As we approach the ninth season, I just admire and feel grateful for all the hard work our wonderful cast and crew have done. What can fans expect from the new season of Last Man Standing? Executive producer Kevin Abbott recently spoke with TV Guide about how the Fox TV show will address the Covid-19 pandemic.
The comedy series, which was just renewed for a ninth season, revolves around Mike Baxter (Tim Allen), the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores and a “man’s man”. His family doesn’t see eye-to-eye with him so it can sometimes be a little tough for Mike to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man. The cast also includes Nancy Travis, Hector Elizondo, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Molly McCook, Jordan Masterson, Jonathan Adams, and Krista Marie Yu.

Fox has officially renewed two more series for next season, flagship comedy Last Man Standing, headlined by Tim Allen, and medical drama The Resident, starring Matt Czuchry and Emily VanCamp. Both come from 20th Century Fox TV and both had been a lock to come back.
The pickups leave freshmen Prodigal Son and Outmatched as the only remaining Fox scripted series yet to hear their fate. As we reported, drama Prodigal Son’s renewal is being finalized while comedy Outmatched is not expected to continue.
Last Man Standing and The Resident will join the rest of Fox’s returning live-action series on the bench of midseason. Because of the uncertainty surrounding the timing of Hollywood’s production reopening amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox’s fall schedule only features scripted series that are either already in the can or are animated, as animation has not been significantly impacted by the pandemic.

Mike does not want to be a guest on Ryan and Kyle’s podcast. You got that? Ok, good, because Vanessa doesn’t and it’s really bothering Mike on Thursday’s “Last Man Standing.”
In TheWrap’s exclusive clip from the new episode, titled “Extrasensory Deception,” Vanessa (Nancy Travis) silently walks up behind Mike (Tim Allen), waiting to discuss Ryan (Jordan Masterson) and Kyle’s (Christoph Sanders ) podcast proposal with him.
“What?” Mike says, just feeling his wife’s presence. “I don’t want to do a podcast with a bunch of sci-fi nerds. They’ll probably just call in and ask, ‘Hey, what are girls like?'”
“Well, that’s totally understandable, I get it,” Vanessa says, clearly not buying Mike’s claims he has no desire to be part of the podcast fun.

As Last Man Standing entered the homestretch of its eighth season, cast member Amanda Fuller found herself behind the camera for the very first time.
Fuller, who plays Mike and Vanessa’s eldest daughter Kristin, tells us that she first approached the producers about directing an episode in Season 7. “They were very responsive,” she says. “Unfortunately, I had asked too late in the season to get a slot, so they said we’d have to make it work next season, and here we are. Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) has a problem on Thursday’s “Last Man Standing” — what else is new, right? — one that he can’t sleep on any longer: Vanessa (Nancy Travis) has started snoring and he is incapable of suffering through it. Of course, he does his best to present this issue to his dear wife in the most loving way possible, but she still doesn’t take the news so well.

Fine. “You snore!” he shouts.
“I mean with an extraordinary amount of gusto, I might add.”

Mike (Tim Allen) and Vanessa Baxter (Nancy Travis) are not playing around on Friday’s “Last Man Standing” season finale — or at least they are trying not to.
In TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peek from the Fox comedy’s Season 7 closer, Mike and Vanessa decide it’s high time that Mandy (Molly McCook) and Kyle (Christoph Sanders) move out of the Baxter household and into an apartment. They mean it. They are gonna do this, “tough love” and all that.
Except, uh, Mandy and Kyle are apparently just fine where they are, thank you, and don’t really want the apartment. What?!? Nancy’s stern face and pointing were all for nothing?!?
Here’s the official description for Friday’s finale, aptly titled “A Moving Finale,” guest-starring Kaitlyn Dever: When Mandy and Kyle are hesitant to move out of the Baxter household and into their own place, Mike gives them some tough love.
