Roberto Malerba

Roberto Malerba is a producer on TV series and executive producer on films .From Rome Italy ,he studied at Ampleforth College in UK before moving to Los Angeles in 1994 . Started working as a PA on films in 1986 In Italy where he returned after his education and has 38 years experience in production . He is a member of both the DGA and the PGA where he was nominated for an award as outstanding producer on streamed series for Sense8 in 2018 . He has collaborated with directors like Martin Scorsese, Norman Jewison ,William Friedkin, Steven Soderbergh ,Terry Gilliam , Sam Mendes , Steve Zaillian Angelina Jolie and multiple collaborations with the Wachowskis to name a few . He specializes in shows all over the World and especially Europe and North Africa where he has worked in Morocco on separate shows . His collaborations also include working for Warner Bros on multiple occasions ,Paramount ,Amazon Netflix, MGM ,EON , TNT and Miramax on budgets ranging from $20 million to $ 200 million . He set up Sense8 at Netflix and on this 2 season series supervised shooting as the producer in 5 continents with filming taking place in Germany ,Italy ,Scotland ,England ,Kenya , S.Korea ,San Francisco,Los Angeles Chicago ,Brazil ,Mexico ,Iceland ,Malta ,Belgium, the Netherlands and India . He is repented by CAA and lives between Los Angeles and Rome Italy .
