Mark Maine was born in La Jolla, California at the old Scripps hospital which was located at 464 Prospect Street, in the "Village" of La Jolla. Maine grew up in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, CA, and graduated in 1976 from Clairemont High School, which was the inspiration for the 1982 movie, Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Maine runs Angelic Pictures, which was formed in 1996. Maine is the Founding Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Angelic Pictures, Inc.. Maine is a DGA Movie Director, Writer & Producer and the "Helmer" of each of Angelic's movies. Maine has a diverse background in Corporate Management, executive-level positions in Global Petroleum, International Trade and in the early 1980's Maine served 5-years as a highly decorated San Diego Police Officer. In the mid 1990s Maine served as President and CEO of Sonotec USA, an international, privately held manufacturing and shipping highway component construction company. Maine has continually participated within the San Diego political arena. Maine was an active member of the Building Industry Association, the San Diego Regional Chamber Foundation, the Executive Committee of the Business Roundtable For Education, a Corporate Leader for the Junior Achievement and served on the Citizens Advisory Council of the San Diego City College District.
