- According to the Los Angeles Times of Thursday, 10/22/59, Dane Richard Lussier, 49, of 9293 Burton Way, Beverly Hills, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Beverly Hills Emergency Hospital after being struck by a car the previous Tuesday night while crossing at an unmarked crosswalk at Doheny Dr and Gregory Way. The driver of the car, Thomas Levin, 39, of 4658 Cassatt St., Los Angeles, was not charged.

Began scripting radio It Happened In Hollywood and Myrt & Marge, etc. then on to movie and television screenwriting. Authored novel Weekend Father in 1954.
