Throughout her porn career she has remained happily married to the same man who was her boyfriend since she was 17 years old. He also is the producer of her films.

A former professional make-up artist, she entered adult movies by answering an ad in a French newspaper in 1993.

French director David Caroll initially named her Rebecca Lords because he was a big fan of Traci Lords, but he mistakenly left the "s" off her last name when he made the credits of her first film, so she has stayed Rebecca Lord.

Was forced to leave the US when her visa expired during the production of I Am a Sex Addict (2005) in 2003. This resulted in director Caveh Zahedi having to make a quick trip to Paris to film the final scenes, as he explains in the movie.

Favorite male partner to work with is Mark Davis.

In France I didn't work out so well. It's mostly amateur so they don't have things, like money, or towels. And they treat the girl like she's a piece of meat.

[on why she became an adult film actress] My family was very Catholic. It's not an excuse. It's just that I'm looking for a reason and sex was shameful. They didn't talk to me. Never. They always kept me at home. I never could go to parties with friends. I think it could be from that.

I think people should remember that marriage is not only about sex. It's a big part of it, but it's not everything. It's also about love. And we don't have much love in the porn industry.

There are probably bad people in our biz, as there are bad people in any industry but I never felt exploited. It probably happens, like in any other biz, but then I strongly think that if some girls feel this way, it's just because they let people exploit them. Nobody forced me to choose this business and nobody forced me to make a career out of it. I did, and the guy/girl that is going to exploit me is yet to be born!
