Usher was perhaps 13 or 14 when he spent a year at Puff Daddy’s New York home in an experience the latter liked to call the Puffy Flavor Camp. His mentee Justin Bieber, however, was 15 when he came across Diddy in an experience not too dissimilar to Usher’s, although much toned down in effect than what the U Got It Bad singer endured.

After Diddy’s September 2024 arrest, the music industry went into a spiral. Interviews, both old and new, are being dredged up of celebrities sharing their experiences with the Bad Boy Records CEO. Among them, Justin Bieber and Usher are two of the more major names because of their prominence and close association with the now-disgraced rapper.

The music industry has never really been without its fair share of controversies. Whether it’s the Diddy-Tupac rivalry, the Michael Jackson scandals, or Ye stealing Taylor Swift’s moment at the VMAs, the audience has never had a dull moment. Now, it appears as though J. Cole may be involved with whatever flavor-of-the-week controversy.

J. Cole, the 39-year-old American rapper/record producer, has been entangled in some seriously shocking news that has effectively canceled the singer’s sense of normalcy, replacing it with speculations and rumors about the day. With J. Cole only beginning to get a hold of his new identity as the subject of a scandal, it is the fans’ duty to dig up whatever information there is to know.

Part dance party, part deep dive, TLC Forever reminds audiences why this girl group remains so beloved. Directed by Matt Kay, the documentary travels back to 1991 as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins hear their breakout hit “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg” for the first time. From there, viewers follow TLC’s rise and the obstacles they faced on their journey. Whether legal battles, health issues, or the tragic loss of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, Chilli and T-Boz share it all with refreshing honesty.
Archival footage shows the trio having fun from early on. Their style stood out from typical girl groups in baggy clothes and bold attitudes. While other artists danced provocatively, TLC celebrated sexuality through empowerment. Songs like “Waterfalls” brought important messages too. Today considered pioneers, back then Missy Elliot says speaking freely “was a shock for women.”
Still, success came quickly with multiple platinum albums. The documentary...

TLC is one of the greatest girl groups in history. The Atlanta-based trio, made up of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, rose to stardom during the 1990s after releasing their platinum debut single, "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," which received a 1993 Grammy nomination for best R&b song. Following their initial success, TLC sent nine of their singles to the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart - four of which went No. 1: "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs," and "Unpretty."
Now, more than three decades since the group first made their mark, Watkins and Thomas are looking back at their prolific careers with the release of their new Lifetime documentary, "TLC Forever," which premieres on June 3. According to the documentary's official description, "TLC Forever" will not only touch on the group's historic success but their biggest downfalls as well, including "internal fallouts,...

Tupac Shakur was quite the ladies’ man. But aside from his romances, he also had close friendships with a few female companions. His longtime friendship with Jada Pinkett Smith is widely reported on, but he was also close to Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. According to Left Eye’s ex, Tupac came to Left Eye’s aid after she torched his home.

Zachary Quinto was more than ready for his rock and roll TV close-up on Spike’s Lip Sync Battle.
The Heroes vet enlisted Cindy Crawford (and plenty of pixelation) to help recreate George Michael’s seminal “Freedom! ’90” music video, in his friendly clash with Zoe Saldana. The "Saturday Night Live" cast must be so frustrated that this whole Duggar scandal happened after they closed the season. Cue Funny or Die to pick up the slack with a new parody mocking Josh Duggar's parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, for how they handled the allegations that their son molested five girls (including his sisters) as a teenager.
In the 2 minute 22-second video, labeled "The Duggars Respond To Sexual Abuse Scandal," the actress playing Michelle first introduces herself as "baby factory for the Duggar family," then "Jim Bob"notes that, with more kids than an NBA team, they were bound to have one troubled child.
Michelle: "The point is we handled it, Ok? When we were first told about Josh's mistake we did the right thing and we ignored the girl that came forward."
Jim Bob: "Girls lie all the time, it's what they do. One of our daughters,...

Since defecting from the controversial organization last summer, the actress and her family have learned "new ways to...reconnect with each other," or as she explains it on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, leaving Scientology "really has brought us closer together." For regular viewers of Snick -- the legendary block of Saturday night programming on '90s Nickelodeon -- "All That" was the weekend cornerstone. The sketch series debuted April 16, 1994, and 20 years later it's safe to say we haven't given enough props to the silly, but often very funny show that showcased a broad range of talents (including Kenan Thompson and Jamie Lynn Spears) and some seriously grownup lessons. Here are six takeaways from the show that routinely dished out Vital Information For Our Everyday Lives. (I'm sticking to the early years of the 11-season series since, as a '90s Nick devotee, it's what I re-watched the most.) 1. Embrace your weirdness. Some billionaire will like you for it. "Earboy" was a pretty wild idea. A kid with gigantic ears (Josh Server) is picked on for his strange features, and he's even friends with a literal Pizza Face and Four-Eyes.

Even with his departure from Saturday Night Live and his transition to Late Night, Seth Meyers has found time in his busy schedule to visit a deserving fan.
On the season premiere episode of Say Yes to the Dress, airing Feb. 21 (9 p.m. Et) on TLC, Meyers, 40, surprises Shealynn Casserly, a medic who was injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan.
Shealynn is planning her wedding and looking for that perfect dress while she heals from her injuries, and Meyers shows up at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City, to help out and prove what he's learned about dress shopping.

If recent viewing trends hold, about 100 million people -- more than a quarter of the entire population of the country -- will watch Super Bowl Xlviii on Sunday (Feb. 2) and then talk about it for days afterward.
But though it may seem that way, it's not the only thing on TV Sunday. The other broadcast networks are taking the night off, but there are marathons and stunts aplenty elsewhere on your channel guide -- and even a couple of original shows. If you're not watching the game, consider these options (all times Eastern).
The originals
PBS: "Downton Abbey" (9 p.m.) and "Sherlock" (10 p.m.). PBS has aired new episodes of "Downton" each of the past three years opposite the Super Bowl and pulled in respectable ratings each time. "Sherlock" has its Season 3 finale.
TCM: "And the Oscar Goes to ..." (10 p.m./7 p.m. Pt). A history of the Academy Awards...

Curious timing! The same day People published an excerpt from its Dec. 20 cover story highlighting Kate Gosselin and her twin daughters' life outside the limelight, In Touch also put the famous family on the cover of its Jan. 20 issue—and it paints a very different picture of the controversial mom of eight. In the tabloid interview, Jon Gosselin slams his ex-wife for wanting to put their children back on TV. "I consider that exploitation," says the former TLC reality star. He also alleges that the former Dancing With the Stars competitor is driven by greed and will stop at nothing to stay in the spotlight. "She uses them as her props," Jon, 36, says of Kate keeping their children in the...

“The Grizzly is unpredictable — and we’ve got the mother of them all,” The Sportsman Channel said this morning in announcing Sarah Palin will attempt to make her reality TV comeback with a show focused on the outdoors. Amazing America With Sarah Palin will premiere in April on the channel that also features an NRA talk show, Antler Insanity, Personal Defense TV, and a series with rocker Ted Nugent. Related: Sarah Palin Returns To Fox News The Palin family were Barrymores of reality TV for a period. Palin previously starred in Sarah Palin’s Alaska — it aired for eight episodes starting in 2010 on TLC but was not renewed for a second season though the network called the ratings “solid.” She also showed up regularly in the audience, and was interviewed on camera, when daughter Bristol became an improbable finalist on the 11th edition of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

TLC’s Best Funeral Ever chronicles the unbelievably absurd workflow of the Dallas-based Golden Gate funeral home — Monday’s series premiere saw caskets roll down a bowling alley and across the finish line of a 100-meter dash, plus a gospel choir-infused “breakfast funeral” and a well-beyond-creepy “urn wedding” (pictured), in which Baptismal couture elegantly replaced the tux and white dress of a traditional living-person affair.

The early buzz has been tremendous for Inside Llewyn Davis, the Coen Brothers' upcoming film about the Sixties folk scene in Greenwich Village, New York. One scene in particular is generating extra attention: the film's title songwriter (played by Oscar Isaac) lands a gig recording a goofy space-race protest tune alongside a pair of awkward folk artists (played by Justin Timberlake and Girls star Adam Driver). Watch it here.

We had double the fun with the Brown family on Sept. 22! In the first half of the special two-part season four finale of ‘Sister Wives,’ Kody and his wives throw some therapy at their marital problems when they go on a ‘couples’ retreat — if you can even call it that! Later, the Browns sit down to answer all your burning questions about their relationships, and some of their answers may surprise you!
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from watching TLC’s Sister Wives over the years, it’s that it is possible to have a strong, successful plural marriage. Still, every relationship comes with its own set of problems and the Browns’ unique union is no exception. In the two-hour season finale, Kody Brown and his wives Meri, 42, Janelle, 44, Christine, 41, and Robyn meditate, hike and sculpt to help solve their deepest struggles. But does getting their zen on do the trick?...

This post contains spoilers about an end credits joke in "We're the Millers."
One of the funniest moments in "We're the Millers," the new R-rated comedy that has grossed $38 million during its debut week, is a group sing-along to the TLC song "Waterwalls" from characters played by Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter. That moment makes a return during the film's de rigueur closing credits outtakes, but with a twist: Instead of "Waterfalls," Sudeikis, Roberts and Poulter break character and serenade a bemused Aniston with The Rembrandts' "I'll Be There For You," a.k.a. the "Friends" theme song.
"That was something that Jason and I came up with together," director Rawson Marshall Thurber told HuffPost Entertainment. "I forget who said it, but we all started laughing really hard."
For Thurber and Sudeikis, the issue wasn't if the prank was funny, but whether Aniston would find the...

With ads prominently pushing both its R-rated laughs and Jennifer Aniston as a stripper, you've probably figured out by now that "We're The Millers" isn't exactly a conventional family road trip movie. That's because the Millers aren't your conventional movie family.
Lead by Jason Sudeikis (fresh off his recent exit from "Saturday Night Live") and Aniston and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber ("Dodgeball"), "We're The Millers" stars Sudeikis as David, a small-time pot dealer forced to graduate to international drug trafficking by his boss Brad (Ed Helms), who's like Tony Montana by way of Mr. Rogers. So, reasoning that clean-cut families draw less suspicion at the border, David recruits a fake wife and kids to help move his boss' product back from Mexico. Only this supposedly "all-American" family consists of a stripper, a runaway and a dorky teen.
In other words, the Millers aren't exactly a Norman Rockwell painting. So who are they then?...

Do you remember "Saturday Night Live"'s Stuart Smalley character (played and invented by Al Franken)? He was the guy who would sit in front of the mirror and try to assure himself he was good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, people liked him. In a rather surprising development, Amazon plans to start selling fanfic. Really. The online retailer will let fanfic writers sell their Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars or Vampire Diaries-inspired stories and keep a portion of the sale. All three series are based on books brought to TV by Alloy Entertainment and Amazon says its working to get more properties into the mix. Now, anyone knows if they’ve banned crossovers? It would be fun to see how “A” and Gossip Girl would react to each other.
Andy Roddick will join Fox Sports Live, Fox Sports’ equivalent of SportsCenter, as a co-host.
Why aren’t there more hosting gigs that include moments of shirtlessness?
It’s taken nearly a year, but TLC has picked up the Bukudroos-produced celebrity genealogy show Who Do You Think You Are?. The new season will include episodes focusing on Zooey Deschanel, Chris O’Donnell and Christina Applegate.

Five of the best examples of cinema characters unexpectedly bursting into song
You know how it is – you're watching a film, when suddenly, out of nowhere, the characters burst into song. Fine when it's a musical – much more surprising when it's not. Here's some of the best of these moments – but can you think of any others? Share them in the comment thread below..
500 Days of Summer
Joseph Gordon Levitt's adorable Tom finally spends the night with the beautiful and quirky Summer and launches into a cheery, dance-filled rendition of You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall and Oates. Almost as elating as losing your virginity, this happy, colourful scene is easily one of the highlights of the film. Sadly the next scene is not nearly so cheerful…

They may have three million viewers in the Us hanging on their every word, they may have been spoofed by such institutions as Saturday Night Live, and they may even have had their nation's leader President Obama referencing them in a pre-election speech, but Honey Boo and her clan have yet really to make their presence felt in the UK.
Honey Boo Boo is on her way...
That could be all about to change, with newly launched UK channel TLC investing heavily in the goings-on of the Thompson family from Georgia as part of its initial charge on the nation's consciousness. It's even made the Thompson family pig its channel mascot.
So, going in, what do we need to know?
1. How did this happen? Well, back in 2011, even amongst all the competitiveness, strangely vicarious and occasionally creepy business of mini beauty-pageants covered in reality show 'Toddlers and Tiaras',...

Considering how it continues to be one of the biggest shows on TV, it's not a surprise that HBO has already renewed Game of Thrones for a fourth season.

Chicago – When the HBO film, “Game Change,” was first announced, it sounded rather unnecessary. Why would Alaska governor-turned-vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s overinflated celebrity deserve such a prestigious biopic? Wasn’t her TLC program, not to mention Tina Fey’s brilliant SNL parody, more than enough small-screen exposure for the oft-embarrassing politician?
Yet this film, superbly directed by Jay Roach, is less about Palin then it is about the superficial posturing that has taken over America’s political landscape. Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s bestselling book of the same name explored how celebrity triumphed over substance during the 2008 election season, as Republicans scrambled to equal the game-changing candidacy of Barack Obama. Screenwriter Danny Strong centers his film on Steve Schmidt, the campaign strategist who backed Palin and lived to regret it.
