- Oreste Lionello was born on April 18, 1927 in Rhodes, Greece. He was an actor, known for Le inchieste del commissario Maigret (1964), Nerone (1977) and Per amore di Poppea (1977). He was married to Ninni Lionello. He died on February 19, 2009 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

- Aside from his career as comedian, he was also one of Italy's greatest dubbing actors, he provided the Italian voice of Woody Allen in most of his movies, of Gene Wilder in Frankenstein Junior, of Charlie Chaplin in The Great Dictator, of Robin Williams in Mork & Mindy, and many more. He was also famous for his impressions, mostly that of the politician Giulio Andreotti.
