The UK’s favorite horror festival visits its second home at the Glasgow Film Festival for the 7th year with its biggest lineup ever. From Friday, February 24th, to Saturday, February 25th, Film4 FrightFest will be screening 11 new must-see genre titles, 10 of which are UK premieres.

My favourite horror film festival, FrightFest, have announced the line-up for next month’s Glasgow Ff, which takes place as part of the Glasgow Film Festival – with what looks to be the biggest line-up ever. Says Alan Jones, FrightFest’s co-director:

Sam Hell Movie PosterThe independent horror production Sam Hell was completed last year in the San Fernando Valley and this production will make an appearance at a developing film festival in September, 2010 (Bayouth). The Vine theatre will host the event with a possible appearance from Ted White (Friday the 13th Part 4). More details on this event will be posted as they become available and a synopsis for the feature Sam Hell, which has just signed a distribution deal with Anthem Digital, is below along with cast and crew.

The folks at Son of Jason Films sent Fangoria a trio of exclusive clips from their new fright feature Sam Hell; you can see them below. The movie was directed by Michael Bayouth, who was also one of the producers and gives the company its name: He’s the offspring of Ted White, who played masked maniac Voorhees in Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter.
“In Sam Hell, a young man who runs a Halloween spooky house finds what he believes to be an old movie prop at a yard sale, and decides to work it into his chilling attraction,” Bayouth tells Fango. “The grotesque decayed head in a cage turns out to be the real remains of a deranged mass murderer who begins to possess Sean, making him continue his bloody killing spree. When Sean’s girlfriend Jill realizes what’s happening, she enlists a pair of paranormal ass-kickers...
