Paul A. Levin is successful producer, post producer and post supervisor for motion pictures and television, known for working with the best in the business, not to mention being an award-winning director of numerous short films. The features, television miniseries and television movies he's worked on have garnered 33 Oscar nominations and 36 Emmy nominations, including Martin Scorsese's Best Picture winner "The Departed."
He has worked globally with such notable actors as Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts, Robert DeNiro, Emma Thompson, Al Pacino, Will Smith, and Natalie Portman. Over the course of his career, Levin has collaborated with award-wining directors including Mike Nichols, Nora Ephron, Barry Sonnenfeld, Spike Lee, M. Night Shyamalan, Phillip Noyce, Tony Scott, Lasse Halstrom, Dee Rees and Malcolm Lee.
In 2014, Levin produced the Slamdance Award-winning documentary, "Kidnapped for Christ", alongside of Yada Zamora, Lance Bass and Mike C. Manning. Some of the most prolific projects he has production managed have been HBO's Emmy Award-winning mini-series, Angels in America, and HBO's Emmy Award-winning television movie, Wit.
As a director, Levin has received multiple awards for his short films from the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival to the Nashville Film Festival. Overall, he has worked on more than 100 productions including Mudbound, Sleepless in Seattle, Salt, Men in Black 3, Julie & Julia, The Birdcage, The Sixth Sense, Closer, Charlie Wilson's War, Foxcatcher, and Primary Colors.
