- Tu-Na House, directed by Bea Soong, written by and starring Nancy Eng, won the Cine Golden Eagle Award, short film and video competition 2013 in NYC. Geoff is composer for this comedy short and plays guitar and synthesizer on the soundtrack.
- June 12, 2012, Geoff played guitar and sang backup with the Shanghai Palace Reunion Band, featuring headliner Vivian Fang Liu on vocals, at an event in Flushing, New York honoring returning troops from the war in Afghanistan. The Shanghai Palace Band played and recorded soundtrack music for Michael Cimino's "Year of the Dragon", and included Billy Asai on bass and Chi On Soo Hoo on drums.
- The Exquisite Corpse Project, in which Geoff Lee plays the combi-character role of 'Mr. Kim', has won three awards, Audience Choice in the Dances With Films festival in L.A., and also the Best Director and Best Documentary awards in the L.A. New Wave International film festival.
- Geoff appeared in "The Sweatshop" in the role of Ahong, the sweatshop owner. The Sweatshop won Best Short in its category at the Shnit Festival in Switzerland, Fall 2012, as well as four other festival awards nationally and internationally.
- Geoff is father to two artists. Both his son and daughter were accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design. Devon Cady-Lee, his son, won a RISD scholarship and after graduating went on to become a fine illustrator, now working as a senior concept artist for Motiga in Seattle. Morgan won a scholarship to Maryland Institute College of Art as an award winning photography/film major, graduated May 2013.
- Geoff debuted as a theater actor off-off-Broadway in the title role of Grandpa in Kikki and Grandpa and Baby, directed by Yutaka Okada, which ran Jan 5 through Jan 25th, 2013 at the American Theater of Actors.
- In his first movie, Magic Sticks, Geoff was honored to be filmed in the same band with renown jazz drummer Chico Hamilton and also keyboardist Michael Wolff (musical director for Arsenio Hall). Magic Sticks also had in its cast a younger Samuel L. Jackson and veteran actor David Margulies, best known as the Mayor of New York in Ghostbusters.
- 1989: Geoff played Paul Wong on the series America's Most Wanted. The Revenge of the Green Dragons (2014) feature film is based on a true life Chinatown gang story that includes the same Paul Wong. This time, 24 years later, Geoff plays Charlie Lo in Revenge of the Green Dragons.
- Fish Stew wins the award for Best Short Film at the Around International Film Festival 2017.
- RED, a short film by Robbin Feng, starring Geoff Lee and Cherng-Mao Sun, is chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick in Oct 2018.
