A week after Maggie Smith‘s death, best friend Dame Judi Dench is at a loss for words.
When asked about Smith’s death at age 89, as well as the death of friend and collaborator Barbara Leigh-Hunt, Dench broke down into tears during a conversation on Saturday at the Cheltenham Literature Festival.
“I suppose the energy that’s created by grief…” started Dench before choking up, according to The Times, after interviewer Brendan O’Hea asked what she meant by comparing her grief around late husband Michael Williams’ 2001 death to petrol.
Smith “passed away peacefully” on Friday, Sept. 27, her sons Toby Stephens and Chris Larkin announced in a joint statement.
She and Dench appeared together in such films as A Room with a View (1985), Tea with Mussolini (1999) and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015), as well as numerous stage productions.

The stars and creatives of Outlander got candid about Season 7 with TV Insider on the red carpet for the show’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, June 9. Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, and the rest of the gang are sharing what they’re most excited for fans to see onscreen this season when the show returns to Starz, and the answers may surprise you. As viewers will recall, Claire (Balfe) and Jamie (Heughan) ended Season 6 on quite a cliffhanger as she remained imprisoned for the alleged murder of Malva Christie (Jessica Reynolds). Meanwhile, Jamie was rescued by his nephew Young Ian (John Bell), as Richard Brown (Chris Larkin) planned to have him shipped off to Scotland and away from Claire. Only the show’s upcoming premiere will reveal what’s to come, but Balfe’s excitement for the season stems from the relationships Claire is having with other men.

The opening title sequence for Outlander Season 7 will be sung by Sinéad O’Connor, following a tradition each season of adapting the show’s theme song by drawing inspiration from upcoming storylines and locations. Season 7 is set to premiere this summer.

The Orville: New Horizons Season 3 Episode 7
Creator and showrunner Seth MacFarlane is seizing every opportunity with the third season of The Orville. This Hulu streaming renaissance has already proved itself to be the show’s most mature, poignant, and character-driven season to date.
One needs to look no further than the title of this episode to see one of its central messages. “From Unknown Graves” is a line from “The Witnesses,” a poem written in the 19th century by Henry Wadworth Longfellow which outlines the crimes committed in America against slaves.
The central story (as there are many threads within this episode) opens on a gray-alien suburban street. There are two children who are excited when they spot their father’s car pulling into the driveway, asking if he finally brought some coveted gift home to them. The father pushes a...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read until you have watched “Outlander” Season 6, Episode 8 titled “I Am Not Alone.”
Despite a tightly packed sixth season comprised of just eight episodes, Starz’s “Outlander” did not disappoint with its dramatic finale episode “I Am Not Alone.”
At the start of the finale, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) — a couple who can never catch a break — barricade themselves inside their home while facing off against Richard Brown (Chris Larkin) and his militia. As bullets rip against the walls of the Big House at Fraser’s Ridge, the two have a heartfelt discussion as to whether this could truly be the end of their story.

The Christies are already stirring up drama on Fraser’s Ridge and we’re only one episode into Outlander‘s long-awaited sixth season. The Starz hit introduced Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) former fellow Ardsmuir prisoner and apparent longtime adversary Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones) as the man traveled with his son Allan (Alexander Vlahos), daughter Malva (Jessica Reynolds), and their fisherfolk to the North Carolina region to settle down. Although welcoming, Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) are apprehensive of the staunch Protestant’s potential impact on their community. Their fears are especially apparent when Allan is caught having stolen a powder horn from Richard Brown’s (Chris Larkin) men, a family that Jamie and Claire would preferably have nothing to do with. (Credit: Starz) In order to try and set boundaries, Jamie addresses Tom towards the end of the Season 6 premiere, noting that his word is law on the Ridge.
