Congrats to Tim Curry, who made a rare public appearance Sunday night in Los Angeles to accept an award. It was one of the first times the beloved "Rocky Horror Picture Show" star has been in the public eye since a 2012 stroke left him in a wheelchair.

The 69-year-old star may not be the same energetic force we remember as "sweet transvestite" Frank-n-Furter, but he told Moviefone he's "very lucky" to be honored by his peers. "It feels amazing. I feel very lucky," he said of accepting his Lifetime Achievement Award from the Actors Fund.

He also wished "good luck" to Will Poulter ("We're the Millers"), who's been cast as the new Pennywise the clown in the upcoming remake of Stephen King's "It," a role Curry played to perfection in the 1990 mini-series. "It's a wonderful part," Curry said of Stephen King's unforgettable evil clown, who terrorizes a group of children.

Sebastian La Cause, the multi-faceted actor, known for his work on Broadway and most recently in the Netflix original Orange Is The New Black, Homeland and the critically acclaimed indie-feature Keep The Lights On was the big winner at this year's Indie Series Awards, which was held in Los Angeles for the first time. La Cause's drama Hustling took home the night's top honor, Best Drama Series. Recently completing its third and final season, Hustling can be found on Youtube at, www.HustlingTheWebSeries.com and was this year's most nominated series with nine nods - including writing, soundtrack and Lead Actor for La Cause.

Writer-director Ira Sachs gay-themed drama Keep The Lights On chronicles the stormy 10-year relationship between documentary filmmaker Erik (Thure Lindhardt), and Paul (Zachary Booth), a lawyer with a weakness for drugs. Keep The Lights On is based on Sach’s own experience with a partner who had drug problems and as a study of addiction, it seems real and sincere. It’s an honest and frank New York-set love story, well-made and acted, but while Sach’s account is no doubt significant to him, it’s a slight story and probably less meaningful for an audience that has to sit through its long 101 minutes. The story starts in 1998 when Erik, a Danish man working in NY, meets Paul on a phone sex line. At first it’s just a casual hook-up but there’s soon chemistry and the two move in together.
