Wayne Kneeland
- Actor
Son of New York Times journalist Douglas E. Kneeland, Wayne's journey into acting and storytelling began as a teenager in Palo Alto, California where he played Winnie the Pooh in a production at the renowned Palo Alto Children's Theatre. He also formed No Strings Puppet Productions and voiced diverse characters in his one-man puppet shows.
In Chicago, he graduated from the Goodman School of Drama and began intensive studies under improv guru Del Close at Second City (where the cast of Saturday Night Live comes from). As a Chicago movie actor, Wayne appeared in Risky Business, Uncle Buck, The Roommate, Under the Biltmore Clock, and starred as the lead criminal in an America's Most Wanted episode.
Wayne now resides on the East Coast, where he raised two children, performed in many local theatre productions, and even rocked a special toy store he opened to supply his kids with toys. He continues to work in film, television, theatre, and audiobook narration, (and entertain kids with his puppetry, of course). Wayne will appear in Season 3 of HBO's And Just Like That.
