Egon Erwin Kisch was born on 29 April 1885 in Prague, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for Tonka Sibenice (1930), Pasák holek (1930) and Der Fall des Generalstabs-Oberst Redl (1931). He was married to Gisela Lyner. He died on 31 March 1948 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
