- Melanie Kinnaman was born on December 18, 1953 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, USA. She is an actress, known for Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985), The Once and Future Smash (2022) and Best of the Best (1989).
- Originally, she had signed on to star in the sixth Friday the 13th film, Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986). The idea was that the sixth film would be a direct sequel to Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985). However, the producer later changed his mind and decided to take the film in a different direction.
