- Norman Kerry was born on June 16, 1894 in Rochester, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Annie Laurie (1927), The Unknown (1927) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923). He was married to Kay English, Helen Mary Wells and Rosina Tripp. He died on January 12, 1956 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

- Did not have a particularly good speaking voice which limited his career during the sound era.
- Joined the French Foreign Legion in the 1930's, returning to the U.S. after Germany's invasion of France in 1940.
- Played right tackle on the Hempstead High School football team in Long Island, New York.
- Became a theatrical agent and sometime around 1916 met Rudolph Valentino. The two became fast friends. Kerry is said to have introduced Valentino to dancer Bonnie Glass who became Valentino's partner. Valentino returned the favor by encouraging Kerry to try acting. Later the two friends supported one another through the early stages of their careers. Kerry even helped Valentino financially at this time. They appeared in a film together Passion's Playground (1920).
