Written and directed by Adam Newman (Everwinter Night), Round the Decay tells the story of a young woman returning to the quiet town of Newport’s Valley two years after a devastating personal tragedy. Her visit unearths a terrifying secret that threatens not only her but the entire town.

Leading the cast is Victoria Mirrer, joined by an impressive selection of talent including Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey At Night), Sienna Hubert-Ross (Terrifier 3), Melody Kay (The NeverEnding Story III), and Roger Clark of Red Dead Redemption II fame.

Only monsters can kill monsters in Round the Decay. The folk-horror creature feature opens in select theaters on January 31.

In a unique approach that aims to leverage demand for indie films on the big screen, Dreamscape Productions is selling ticket voucher codes that can be redeemed through Atom Tickets.

Fresh new label Dreamscape Productions has wrapped principal photography on their creature feature Round the Decay, and they’ve provided Bloody Disgusting with some first look stills of the film’s cast and a peek at the flick’s monster, the Wrexsoul.

Writer and director Adam Newman teases the original practical creation at the center of the film (played by Rachel Pizzolato), “The Wrexsoul is inspired by many creatures of film’s past, but the sum equals something fresh and unique. We can’t spoil too much but we have an extensive lore that you’re going to have to check out once Round the Decay is released.”

Melody Kay (The NeverEnding Story III) will star alongside Victoria Mirrer (Everwinter Night), Phil Duran (“Breaking Bad”), Damian Maffei, Sarah Nicklin, and Rodger Clarke (Red Dead Redemption II).

Round the Decay follows “Kenzie (Victoria Mirrer) as she gets entangled in a sinister plot in the sleepy town of Newport Valley to get closure on her broken engagement.”

“When prominent locals take in a lost hiker, Kenzie, newcomer Roz and mysterious outsider Munroe find themselves caught between the leaders of the town’s factions and entangled in an ancient sinister plot dating back to its founder that threatens the survival of the town and their lives.”

Adam Newman wrote the script and is also directing the horror film.
